Ingredients

  • 8 Cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp oregao
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 6 cups tomoato sauce(2-680ml cans)
  • 8 cups diced tomatoes( 2-796ml cans)
  • 2 cups rice uncooked

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add onion, garlic,worcestrshire sauce, paprika, ground beef and salt to a skillet on medium heat. Cook until ground beef is brown
2. In a slow cooker, add cabbage, oregano, basil, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water and ground beef mixture and stir tocombine.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hrs
4. Cook the rice and add to the crockpot in the last 1/2 hour
