Peanut Butter Cookies

• 1 1/2 c flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1/2 c margarine
• 1/2 c chunky peanut butter
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1/2 c packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• sugar
• chocolate kisses

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat margarine and peanut butter until well blended. Beat in sugars until blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture until well mixed. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and quickly press chocolate kiss firmly into top of each cookie (cookie will crack around edge). Remove to wire racks to cool.
