Ingredients

  • Yield 1 1/2 cups
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. In a small saucepan, combine sugars, butter, and milk over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in vanilla.
