Ingredients

  • ¾

    lb. tomatillos

  • cup diced white onion

  • 1 or 2

    chiles serranos

  • 1

    bunch cilantro (approx 15 stems)

  • 1

    cup broth or water

  • 1

    Tbsp. lard or veg. oil

  • Salt to taste

Directions

1. Roughly chop tomatillos, onion, chiles serranos, and cilantro. 2. Add tomatillos, onion, chiles serranos, cilantro, and broth to blender and blend. 3. Bring to boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes, adding salt to taste. 4. Serve immediately and/or refrigerate.
