Ingredients
- 3/4 Pound Fully Cooked Ham, cubed
- 1 Medium Onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Cans ; (16 Ounces) Great Northern Beans, Rinsed And; Drained
- 3 Cups Chicken Broth
- 2 Cups Water
- 1 Cup Peeled, diced potatoes
- 3/4 Cup Diced Carrots
- 3/4 Cup Diced Celery
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sage
- 1/2 Teaspoon Thyme
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Peas
- 2 Tablespoons Minced Fresh Parsley
- Salt & pepper, ; as needed
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a 3 quart saucepan, saute ham, onion and garlic in butter until onion is tender.
2. Add the next ten ingredients; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
3. Add peas and cook for 5 minutes. Add parsley and serve.
