Cornflake Wreath/Tree Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 3 cups miniature marshmallows
• 1/2 tsp. almond extract
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 tsp. green food color
• 4 cups cornflakes
• Red Hots candy

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt butter in a large saucepan
2. Add marshmallows,stirring til all are melted
3. Add extracts and food coloring. Stir til mixture is a uniform green color
4. When miture is smooth add cornflakes. Mix well but gently so not to crush cornflakes
5. Form into wreath or tree shapes on sheets of waxed paper then decorate with Red Hots
6. Let cool throughly to harden

Makes 25-30 cookies
