Carmel Apple Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced granny smith apples
  • 1 tub cool whip
  • 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup peanuts
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 T flour

Preparation

Step 1

combine pineapple with juice, sugar and flour in saucepan. Bring to a slow boil until thickened. Remove from the heat and LET COOL COMPLETELY

Combine apples, cool whip and most of the nuts. Add cooled pineapple mixture. Mix well.

Top with remaining nuts.

Best if made the night before.
