Rounded and puffy oatmeal raisin cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup firmly packed Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups of uncooked oats
  • 1 cup of raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter and sugars together until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Mix dry mixture with butter mixture.
Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350° until Golden Brown.

Can be made in an ungreased 13 x 9 pan -- bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
