Ingredients
- Filling:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cream of tartar. Using pastry blender, cut butter into dry ingredients. Add milk, mixing with a fork. Roll out dough onto floured board in large rectangle.
In a separate bowl, combine the filling ingtedients and spread over dough. Roll up dough and cut into 16 sections. Place sections in greased muffin tins and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until a light golden color.
