Soft pretzels

Ingredients

  • 4 C flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 1/2 C warm water
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Course, kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar and salt. Stir in flour 1 C at a time. Knead dough til smooth (5 mins) Dough should not stick, if it does, add a little more flour. Divide dough and roll as a "snake". Cut and shape into pretzels. Brush w/ egg and sprinkle w/ course salt. Bake @ 425 for 15 mins. Serve w/ mustard
