Ingredients

  • Thyme/Lime Lemonade:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 - 3 cups water
  • 10 sprigs thyme
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 3/4 cup vodka
  • Spicy Cayenne Shandy:
  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 -12 oz bottles lager beer

Preparation

Step 1

In small saucepan, combine sugar & 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved; let cool.
In pitcher, combine the syrup with lemon juice and 2 1/2-3 cups water. Pour over ice

Thyme/Lime Lemonade:
Mash thyme sprigs with lime juice; add to pitcher. Add 3 cups lemonade. Refrigerate at least one hour. Add vodka before serving.

Spicy Cayenne Shandy:
combine salt & pepper. moisten rims of 4 glasses and dip in salt mixture. In pitcher, combine 1 cup lemonade and beer. Serve over ice in prepared glasses.
