Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tbsp shortening, melted
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 package devil's food cake mix
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 9x13" pan. In a small bowl, combine graham crumbs with melted shortening. Stir together until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in chocolate pieces and walnuts; set aside.
2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle crumb mixture over batter evenly.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool in pan.
