TRAIL MIX COOKIE MIX

  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. wheat germ
  • 1/3 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/3 c. packed flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside. Layer ingredients in order given in wide mouth canning jar. Attach directions to the jar:

Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix until completed blended. Shape into walnut size balls and place on baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Makes 2-1/2 doz. cookies.
