Corn Dogs

Ingredients

  • 7 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cubs Marie Calendar Corn Bread Mix
  • 64 oz vegetable oil for deep fryer
  • 18 hot dogs
  • 18 chop stix

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix eggs and water in a large bowl
2. Add corn mix and well
3. Place batter in a 4 inch by 5 inch tall container
4. Heat oil to 350
5. Place stix into end of hot dogs
6. Dip dogs into batter - coat entire hot dog
7. Place into hot oil
8. When floats turn (but this is if you are in a pan not deep fryer)
9. Should be a light golden brown
10.Remove from oil and drain on paper towel
11. Mustard or ketchup or whatever to dip
