  • Bake an angel food cake. Leave in pan.

About 3-1/2 hours before serving, combine 2 tbsp. light cream and ½ c. dark crème de cacao. With a 5” wooden skewer, make many holes in varying depths in cake. Pour half the crème de cacao mixture into holes; let cake stand in pan 2 hours. Invert cake onto serving plate. Make more holes in top and pour in remaining crème de cacao mixture. In chilled bowl, beat 1-1/2 c. chilled whipping cream and ¼ c. powdered sugar just until stiff. Frost cake, garnish with shaved chocolate or chocolate curls. Chill about 1 hour.
