Spiced Cider

Ingredients

  • 1 gal cider - clear canned - not fresh
  • 4 2" cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tsp allspice
  • 24 whole cloves
  • Brown sugar to taste try 1/4 C at a time

Preparation

Step 1

-Place spices into a cheesecloth square or coffee filter tied with string
- Simmer cider and spices 10 min. or longer if desired
- Remove spices and add desired brown sugar
- Serve warm or cold
