Spaghetti with Garlic and Olive Oil

Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz.) pkg. spaghetti
- 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 4 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh Italian parsley
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
- Dash salt
- Dash freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook spaghetti in large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions; drain. Place in shallow serving bowl.
2. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in small skillet over medium-low heat until warm. Add garlic; cook 3 minutes or until garlic just begins to soften. Stir in crushed red pepper; remove from heat. Stir in remaining 1/3 cup oil.
3. Pour garlic mixture over spaghetti. Add parsley, oregano, thyme, salt and black pepper; toss gently.
