Ingredients

  • 1

    (12-oz.) pkg. spaghetti

  • 1/3

    cup plus 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided

  • 4 to 6

    garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2

    teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 1

    tablespoon minced fresh Italian parsley

  • 1

    teaspoon minced fresh oregano

  • 1

    teaspoon minced fresh thyme

  • Dash salt

  • Dash freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

1. Cook spaghetti in large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions; drain. Place in shallow serving bowl. 2. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in small skillet over medium-low heat until warm. Add garlic; cook 3 minutes or until garlic just begins to soften. Stir in crushed red pepper; remove from heat. Stir in remaining 1/3 cup oil. 3. Pour garlic mixture over spaghetti. Add parsley, oregano, thyme, salt and black pepper; toss gently.
