Cilantro Butter Tilapia Skillet Fillets

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp ground red pepper
  • 4 6 oz tilapia fillets
  • cooking spray
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 3 ingredients and sprinkle over both sides of fish.

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat the pan and both sides of fish with cooking spray. Place fish in the pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Place the fish on a serving platter; squeeze lemon over the fish.

Place butter and remaining ingredients in a small bowl; stir until well blended. Serve with the fish.
