  • 1 15 - 16 ouncecangarbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch paprika
  • 1 tablespoon finely snipped Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
  • Pinch coarse sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. In a medium bowl combine garbanzo beans, oil, hot pepper sauce, the 1/4 teaspoon salt, the black pepper, and paprika. Spread in an even layer in a 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Roast about 30 minutes or until browned and crisp. Cool for 5 minutes.

2. Toss with parsley and the pinch salt
