Ingredients
- 1 lb. store-bought frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1/3 cup garlic-infused oil
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted, or olive oil
- 2 T. finely minced fresh parsley
- 2 T. finely minced fresh garlic
- salt, pepper to taste (or seasoned salt)
- ½ cup pieces or lumps of chevre cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- sesame seeds, as garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Generously spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
Divide dough into small chunks to form 1 ½ inch balls and set aside. Whisk together garlic oil and butter (or olive oil), parsley, and garlic.
Dip balls in garlic oil/butter mixture. Arrange all dough balls layering on each other in prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle in between layers with salt and pepper, and dot with chevre cheese and sprinkle with grated cheese. Top with sesame seeds, if desired.
Cover loaf pan loosely with plastic wrap and let bread rise until almost doubled, about 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place loaf pan on a baking sheet and place in oven. Bake until browned and crusty looking, about 30 to 40 minutes. Cool about 15 minutes before serving. Do not slice, simply pull apart.
