Ingredients
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/3 c. butter
- pinch of salt
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla

Step 1
Into 4 qt. kettle put sugars, corn syrup and cream. Cook slowly, stirring until sugars are dissolved. Continue cooking until candy thermometer registers 248 degrees or until firm ball is formed. Pour into pan to cool, then wrap individual pieces in wax paper.
