Ingredients
- 4 lbs. pork spareribs
- salt & pepper to taste
- 16 oz. jar apple butter
- 18 oz. bottle barbeque sauce
- 1 onion, quartered
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs on rimmed baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, drain.
Meanwhile, blend together apple butter and barbecue sauce in a bowl set aside.
Slice ribs into serving-size pieces and place in a slow cooker. Top with onion, drizzle sauce mixture over all. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
