HOT DOGS - FRANKLY CHEESE BUNS

A boon to the cook to have a different way to serve frankfurters.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp prepared mustard
  • 3 chopped wieners
  • 3 hot dog buns, uncut

Preparation

Step 1

Heat cheese, milk and mustard in double boiler or heavy saucepan, stirring often, until cheese melts.

Add wieners. Stir to heat through.

Cut a V shaped wedge from each bun. Spoon hot wiener mixture into cavity. May be served as is or broiled until bubbly.
