CRANBERRY BANANA SALAD
For a special lunch or snack, serve this on lettuce leaf, with baking powder biscuits or rolls.

Ingredients
- 3 oz. lemon flavored gelatin powder
- 1-1/4 cups boiling water
- 14 oz. cranberry sauce
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
- 1/3 cup finely chopped nuts
- mayonnaise for garnish
- nuts for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cranberry sauce. Chill until syrupy.
Fold bananas and nuts into thickened jelly. Pour into 4 cup mold or serving bowl. Chill. Garnish with small dollops of mayonnaise sprinkled with nuts. Also may be chilled in an 8x8 inch pan for serving in squares on a bed of lettuce.
