Ingredients
- 4 med.-sized onions
- extra virgin olive oil
- cheese
Preparation
Step 1
peel onions
cut a cross down from top of each one to the root
place in roasting tin of some sort
drizzle w/ olive oil (a fruity oil is best)
place onions covered w/ foil in med-hot oven (350)
roast for abt 45 min
remove foil,
spoon some of oil over onions
return to oven, without foil
cook for 15 min, till golden & soft
slice some cheese thinly (any kind)
place cheese on top of onions, as much or as little as you like
return to oven till cheese has started to melt
eat as soon as cheese becomes molten
