Tara's Meatloaf

Amazing meatloaf that is ACTUALLY moist... you won't be able to stop eating it!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage (can substitute 1/4 teaspoon dried sage)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped (can substitute 1/ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs or 3 slices bread torn into small pieces. I use seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato paste or ketchup
- Optional: 1/4 finely chopped green pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350
Mix all ingredients except tomato paste/ketchup. Spread into ungreased loaf pan or shape into 9 X 5 loaf and place in ungreased rectangular pan. Spread paste/ketchup over top of loaf. Bake uncovered for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
