Ingredients

  • Brush on top:
  • 2-1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 3/4 c. cold milk
  • 4 tbsp. cold butter
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (and onion powder??)_
  • pinch salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400. Combine Bisquick with cold butter using pastry cutter or fork. Don’t mix too thoroughly. Add cheddar cheese, milk and ¼ tsp. garlic. Mix by hand until combined, but don’t over mix. Drop ¼ c. portions of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15-17 min. When you take the biscuits out of the oven, melt 2 tbsp. butter in microwave; stir in ½ tsp. garlic powder, (onion powder if desired) and parsley. Brush spread over top of biscuits.
