Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove halved
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 8 oz grated mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz grated fontina cheese
  • 2 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 3 T dry white wine
  • Salami cubes, crusty Italian bread cubes or veggies for dippers

Preparation

Step 1

Rub inside of a heavy saucepan with cut side of garlic and discard.

Pour milk into the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir in cheeses until melted and smooth.

Whisk together cornstarch and white wine until smooth. While constantly stirring, slowly pour wine mixture into cheese mix and continue to cook until thickened. Transfer to a fondue pot to keep warm.

Serve with whatever you desire.
