Meatballs

Ingredients

  • variation:
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 c day old Italian bread
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1 t oregano
  • 1 t basil
  • 1/4 c parsley
  • 1/4 c Romano cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • replace prok and beef with ground turkey, add 1 t fennel seeds
  • or: add cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In lg mixing bowl, combine pork and beef. In another bowl combine bread and milk til saturated. Squeeze bread and excess milk and add to meat. Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly, form into 2 in balls. Arrange on sheet where drainage is possible, bake 400, 20 min.
