Pizzelle Thin

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups oil
  • 2 teaspoons pure lemon or orange extract
  • 2 teaspoon anise oil
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons anise seed

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs well - gradually add sugar - beat well

Add oil or shortening - flavoring - beat until blended smooth
Add flour - a little at a time - mix well
anise seeds

Chill dough 2 hours - over night or several days under refrigeraation to
enrich flavor
