Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 tbsp snipped fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet melt butter or margarine; stir in onion and garlic, cooking until transparent. Add meat; cook and stir until meat is lightly browned. Drain off excess fat, if any. Sprinkle flour over meat; season with salt and pepper. Stir in mushrooms and soup. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Blend in sour cream. Heat through. Do NOT boil. Top with parsley. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
