CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISIN COOKIE MIX IN A JAR

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. chocolate covered raisins
- 1/2 c. milk chocolate chip morsels
- 1-3/4 c. flour mixed with
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Step 1
Layer ingredients in order given in a quart size wide mouth canning jar. Press each layer firmly in place making sure it’s packed down before adding the flour mixture. Attach these instructions to the jar:
Chocolate Covered Raisin Cookies
Empty cookie mix into large mixing bowl and thoroughly blend. Add 1 stick butter or margarine, softened at room temperature, 1 slightly beaten egg and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Shape into walnut sized balls. Place 2” apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 375o for 13-15 minutes. Yield: 2-1/2 doz. cookies
