Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup buttermilk (if you don't have buttermilk, substitute 1 cup milk with 1 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar)
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Step 1
Mix all ingredients. Pour onto a hot griddle until bubbles appear on top. Flip over for slightly more. Serve with butter and syrup.
