KALE****Garlic Roasted Kale

06/05/14 - Yummy! Dan would even eat a little of it. I cleaned the kale an week and a half ago and left it in the fridge in a ziplock back until I cooked it. It suffered no ill effects that I could see.
02/08/14 - Update - I used a package of pre-cut, mixed kale, much easier, and Dan even complimented it!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • pinch of smoked or Maldon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch kale, stems removed and chopped
  • generous pinch of red pepper flakes

Preparation

Step 1

*Preheat* oven to 425°.

*Combine* ingredients in a large bowl; toss to coat. *Place* mixture on a baking sheet, as close to one layer as possible.

*Bake* at 425° for 15-20 minutes until edges of leaves are crisp and kale is tender and garlic is golden.

*Serve* immediately.
