Ingredients
- 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/8 tsp onion salt
- 3 oz mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 4 chicken breast (steak or veal)
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano (crushed)
- 1/2 tsp sugar

DIRECTIONS:
Combine crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and dash of pepper. Combine egg and water. Dip chicken and coat. Arrange in 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn meat and bake until tender (15-20 minutes more). Meanwhile, combine tomato sauce, oregano, sugar, and onion salt and heat to boiling, stirring. Pour over meat and top with mozzarella cheese. Return to oven to melt cheese.
