Ingredients
- 6 Vanilla Beans*
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup {168g} Agave Nectar**
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth {you can chop up the vanilla beans if you want to save some time} Pour mixture in a fine mesh strainer and press on the vanilla bean "pulp" to get as much liquid out. Pour the vanilla paste into a pretty sealable jar.
*I used the vanilla beans used in my homemade vanilla extract.
**For a sugar-free version, use vegetable glycerine instead of the agave
*I store my vanilla paste in the fridge so it will keep for as long as possible. Plus, the texture and flavor doesn't really change when cold or change a cake batter since it isn't used in large amounts.
