Quinoa Milk with Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa grain
  • 2 cups + 6 cups water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • stevia, dates or agave to taste

Preparation

Step 1


Soak quinoa overnight to remove bitter saponins.
Cook quinoa for 15 minutes in 2 cups boiling water.
In batches, put cooked quinoa in blender with up to 6 cups of water and remaining ingredients.
Strain through nut milk bag.
