Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced red cabbage
- 2 carrots, cut into coin-size pieces
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 bone-in chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp dried parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Place the cabbage, carrots, celery and onions on the bottom of an oval 4 quart slow cooker
Place the chicken skin side up on top of the vegetables. Pour the broth over
the chicken and sprinkle it evenly with the spices. Put the spices onto the
chicken skin.
Cook on low 6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the skin prior to serving.
