Ingredients
- 1 pkg devils food cake mix
- 1 pkg chocolate instant pudding mix (3.9oz)
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup butter
- 5 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups semisweet chocolate morsels, divided
- 1 cup white chocolate morsels
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour two 9” square cake pans, set aside.
2. Beat cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, butter, eggs and vanilla with a mixer for 30 seconds or just until moistened. Beat at medium speed for 2 mins. Stir in 2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels; pour batter evenly into prepared pans.
3. Bake for 25-30 mins or until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely in pans on wire racks.
4. Microwave white chocolate morsels in glass bowl at high for 30-60 seconds or until morsels melt, stirring at 30 second intervals until smooth. Drizzle evenly over cakes. Repeat procedure with remaining cup of semisweet morsels. Sprinkle cakes with pecans.
