Three Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 c white wine
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 T flour
  • 7 oz Gruyere, cubed
  • 7 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 7 oz Emmentaler cheese, cubed

Preparation

Step 1

Bring the wine to a boil in a small saucepan.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a med saucepan over med low heat. Whisk in the flour, and cook for about 5 min, stirring constantly to avoid sticking and burning.

Once the flour is cooked, stir the wine into the flour mixture slowly. Use a whisk to smooth the m ixture. Slowly add cubes of the cheeses and stir until cheese is melted. Transfer to a fondue pot to keep warm.
