Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef (you can also use chicken or turkey)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 t. garlic salt
  • 1 t. cumin
  • 1 package dry ranch dressing mix
  • 2-3 T. taco seasoning (I use 1 package)
  • 2 (15oz.) cans of Ro-Tel
  • 1 (15oz) can of dice tomatoes
  • 2 (15oz.) cans of white shoe peg corn
  • 1 (15oz.) can black beans
  • 1 (15oz.) can pinto beans
  • 1 (15oz.) can ranch beans
  • 2 C. water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown mea and onion on medium-high until beef is cooked thoroughly. Add garlic salt and cumin while browning the meat.

2. Add all ingredients, including meat mixture into a large pot. Don't drain anything, just dump it all in.

3. Simmer for 2 hours.

4. Optional: Serve with shredded cheese and tortilla chips. Avocado also works well.
