Caribbean Cocktail Sausages

Ingredients

  • 2 -16oz pkg cocktail wieners or small cooked smoked sausage links
  • 12 jar pineapple preserves
  • 1/2 T finely shredded lime peel
  • 1 T lime juice
  • 1 t Jamaican jerk seasoning
  • 1 t ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • few dashes bottle hot sauce
  • lime wedges, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Put all ingredients except lime wedges into a crockpot and cook on low heat setting for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours. Serve immediately with toothpicks. If desired garnish the plate with lime wedges
