This original recipe came from a dear friend from years ago, Pam Pepperoni. I give the original recipe but I have altered it with the addition of a layer of cooked rice.more
8 oz pkgs Stove Top Stuffing
cup butter, melted
Combine ingredients above and put all but ⅓ into a 9 x 13 pan.
cans Cream of Celery Soup
cups chicken, cooked and cubed
Pepper to taste
Combine rest of ingredients and pour over first mixture then crumble remaining mixture over the top. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly. I have altered this as follows: 10-12 oz stuffing 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup butter 1 1/2 cups water 1 can Cream of celery 2 cups chicken I add a layer of cooked brown rice on top of the stuffing.
