Frango Mints

This is a recipe I got years ago from a candy making demonstration in Seattle. I believe it was a Relief Society class in the Seattle Stake Center.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pkg milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 capfuls peppermint extract

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chips over a double boiler and cool. Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add flavorings. Add to cooled chocolate. Mix well and pour into buttered pan or drop by teaspoons onto wax paper. Refrigerate.
