Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • pinch of salt & pepper
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 1 Green Pepper diced
  • 3 Cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Large Onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded cheese
  • 5 Cups Potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter, mix in flour, salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in milk. Return to heat and cook until thick and bubbly.

Stir in garlic, green pepper, onion and cheese. Add potatoes.

Pour into baking pan and cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove cover and cook for 1 more hour or until tender.

Top with more shredded cheese if desired for the last few minutes.
