Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar -- for dough
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 egg
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 medium can pineapple -- crushed
  • 1/2 cup sugar -- for topping
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • dash salt

Preparation

Step 1

DOUGH
*Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder,butter, eggs, evaporated milk, and
vanilla, mix up like pie dough (make ito 2 balls)

*chill well

*Roll out 1 ball of dough and place into jelly roll sheet

TOPPING
*In a medium sauce pan combine Pineapples, sugar, cornstarch, and salt

*Cook over low heat till thick, Let cool

*Place topping in prepared jelly pan

*With second ball of dough, roll out and cut our strips, jCriss cross like
a fruit pie

*Bake 375 for 30 minutes

*Cool well cut into squares

use scoop number 60 on both dough and pineapple
