Easy Double Chocolate Chip Brownies

  • 2 cups (12 oz.) chocolate chips, divided
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into pieces
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan. Melt 1 cup chips and butter in large heavy duty saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs. Stir in flour, sugar, vanilla and baking soda. Stir in remaining chips and nuts. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until tests done. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
