Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 9 " 1 1/2 cups grahams(20 crackers)
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter......350 degrees for 10 mins
  • 10 " 1 3/4 cups grahams (24 crackers)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter......350 degrees for 15 mins.
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teasp salt
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 teasp. vanilla
  • 2 lg. bananas

Preparation

Step 1


Stir sugar, salt, cornstarch, then blend milk, and egg yolks. Boil and stir for 1 min.
Blend in butter and vanilla
Peel and slice bananas and place them on top of cooled filling after pie cools. Top with whipped cream.
