Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 2/3 cup agave syrup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Freshly ground pepper
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Warm oil in medium large pan and cook onions and garlic on low heat until soft, about 7 to 10 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, agave syrup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and pepper. Bring to boil.
Lower heat and simmer covered, for 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning, add salt if needed.
